I’ve been doing some research and both cameras get great reviews. There seems to be a lot to like about both cameras and not much not to like. Some obvious differences I saw were:

  • Price (the 60D seems to be about $200 more than the T3i)
  • Faster FPS in continuous shooting – 60D wins out here
  • Longer battery life – 60D again wins

Some of the things I’m really looking for are the ability to record video, the LCD screen, articulated monitor and more features over what I have now. I did stop in a retail store to actually hold the camera and I did like the way the 60D felt. I’m only interested in purchasing the body and will continue to use the lenses I already own. Anyone have any suggestions or opinions I’d love to hear them.
